I have nothing but praise for all the staff in this practice. My Tess was a patient here for 14 years and the quality of service and care never wavered, only increased. The last, and final, appointment was handled with the utmost dignity and care for both Tess and Myself. Not an easy position to be in, but the staff could not have done any more for us than they did. Thank you.

We moved in November last year and were in search of a new vet. This vet is only a mile from my house and when we noticed a new growth on our senior boxer mix we called and the got us in very quickly. Since then my dog has been in for 2 surgeries and numerous rechecks as he is on a medicine to keep new growths from popping up as he has mast cell cancer. Everyone knows my dog by name when we come in for appointments. The staff has also done really well with the newest member of our family, a little rescue puppy. I’ve been recommending this vet to my friends and coworkers who are in search of a new vet. This by far is the best vet I have used.

Since he showed up on our doorstep on a frigid snowy February night a little over 3 years ago, our cat Remy has given us buckets of love. In late May/early June of this year Remy experienced a serious health crisis that could very likely have killed him within days if not for the extraordinary medical care he received at Groton Ledyard Veterinary Hospital.

Led by Dr. Briittany Banning, the fine medical staff at GLVH performed skillfully and swiftly to stabilize Remy, and in the following days provided the kind of professional and expert care we all hope for when our animal friends are suffering. We are so grateful to Dr.’s Banning and Ross and the terrific veterinary technicians and nurses who saved our friend Remy. A BIG THANKS to the entire staff of GLVH!!!!

What an amazing place! I am so thankful for all of the staff at Groton Ledyard Vet. They have been amazing to our older dog, Titan and to our newest addition , Suki. They explain everything and are extremely knowledgable. It has been a wonderful experience for us.

The entire staff at GLVH is the most caring and considerate group of any vet practice I’ve ever been to. Recently, my 14.5-year-old male Basset experienced Grand Mal seizures brought on by extremely high blood pressure. Dr. Banning went to great lengths to work out an effective dose of several meds to bring the BP down and eliminate the seizures. Now he’s doing great. Can’t imagine bringing my dogs anywhere else.

I have a Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull) and he needed to have a lump removed. Not only did they take care of Chico’s surgery but when I had an emergency come up and wouldn’t be around to pick him up at the end of the day they were more than willing to keep him the extra day at no extra charge and said he was a pleasure to work with rather than shy away from him for his breed and stature. I would recommend them to anyone over any vet in the area.

My rescue Buddy was recently diagnosed with chronic Lyme and both vets, and staff, have been so supportive answering all of my questions and figuring out the best plan for my boy. He’s my best pal!

Thank you so much for being so kind and so caring to our little Oliver. I can’t say enough about how well they took care of Oliver. He was scratched in the eye by a cat. They took him right in.
